The Penn State Alumni AssociationWhat’s been happening: I received a PhD in physics. After two years in Texas, I joined the CIA. I was a Nuclear Intelligence Officer. I retired after a tenure of 26.5 years. After retiring, I spent a few years at the Los Alamos National Laboratory. I was married to my first wife for 25 years. We had a son and a daughter. They are in their 30s, married, and each has two children. My son is a psychologist and is now in private practice. His sister teaches high school science. I have been married to my second wife for 15 years. She is a Texan by birth. While driving from Santa Fe to the Hill Country in Texas, I had a serious one-car accident. They repaired my badly broken ankle, but after two years the support structure gave away. I am now confined to a wheelchair, hoping that nothing moves. If it does, I will lose my leg. My hobbies were photography (and thus travel) and reading. The accident has slowed down both. |
